International Masterclass with Cristobal Elgueta

Cristobal Elgueta is a Chilean landscape architect and forestry engineer with over twenty years of experience in designing eco-systemic gardens. Starting from the soil and ending with plant selection, his projects take into account all the elements that contribute to the creation of a healthy and aesthetically appealing natural habitat. He is an international speaker who will be joining us for the first time at the Valfredda Masterclass.

Who is the course intended for?

Professional designers, architects, and gardeners who are familiar with plants.

Objectives

This course will cover the fundamentals of designing an eco-systemic garden, with a particular focus on urban environments. We will study aspects of variety selection, but above all we will concentrate on the importance of soil preparation, from technical substrates to drainage systems, because only by starting with the care of this fundamental resource can we develop high-quality, sustainable and healthy projects that are suited to the climate changes currently underway.
