DESCRIPTION:Noel Kingsbury leads a four day class in planting design. Starting with the plant\, the class will study plant ecology including a trip into the countryside to understand how plants survive and compete in nature. It will then go on to look at all aspects of planting design: planning for future maintenance\, growth over time colour\, foliage\, structure\, seasonality. \n Students will have exercises in critiquing photographs of existing plantings and analysing plans from a number of experienced designers.
